APTET is known as Andhra Pradesh Teachers Eligibility Test and is known for the examination for the teachers who are eligible for the post of teachers in various subjects. This examination is mainly for the recruitment of the teachers in various subjects in different class from lower primary to upper primary.
The Center for good governance is responsible for this APTET 2013 and generally this examination notification will be released in the month of May every year. As usual this year also the Notification is released in the month of May 2013.
This examination is compulsory for the candidates who are pursuing as a teacher in the classes of lower primary I-V and also in the upper primary VI-VIII schools in Andhra Pradesh. There are two papers and the eligibility criteria for those two papers are different / not same, since both the papers are not dealing with the same complexity as well as the same pattern.
The eligibility criteria for the paper-I is the candidates has to passed the 4- year Bachelor of Elementary Education or an equivalent degree with 45% of the minimum marks or the candidates with B.A, B.Sc with at least 50% Marks and B.Ed qualification can also be eligible for this examination or paper-I.

The Candidates who had done their final year D.Ed with at least 45% of the minimum marks and passed / appearing the B.Ed / senior secondary with at least 50% marks and also the candidates who had the qualification of the B.Ed with special education and also with 50% marks are eligible.
Note: Hall tickets or admit cards can able to download after 1st Aug 2013. Applications Submitting starts from the date 16/7/2013.
Applications Submitting Ends on the date 1/8/2013.
Date of Examination for APTET 2013 is on 1-9-2013.
